About Mai
I am a native, professional Japanese (MFL) teacher, recently completed maser's degree in Japanese Language Education after 15 years teaching experience. I taught various students with divers background in Japan and globally as a private tutor, school teacher, college lecturer and in-company trainer. I have successfully helped students with university transfers and career advancements. With my teaching experience and knowledge, I will guide you to achieve your target. I am fully qualified with MA in Language Education (2025), Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language (2007). Additionally, I have passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test (2022) and possess a Teacher's Licence for upper secondary education (similar to UK KS4 and KS5), which is the equivalent of QTS in Japan. I also hold a BSc degree.
