About Murtada

I am a practising Neurophysiologist within the NHS in Greater Manchester.

I have been tutoring Biology for over 10 years and have experience teaching students of different ages and abilities.

Alongside tutoring, I regularly teach and support university students and healthcare professionals within my clinical role.

My specialist knowledge includes human biology, neuroscience, anatomy and physiology, the nervous system and other areas of medical science.

I am friendly, patient and approachable, and I aim to explain difficult biological concepts in a simple, understandable way. I adapt my teaching style to each student and focus on building both their knowledge and confidence.

I particularly enjoy helping students understand why something happens rather than simply memorising facts for an exam.

About the lesson

Initial lessons are diagnostic and an opportunity to understand the needs/goals of students. Further to this, effective planning is put in place and all tailored support made available to students. I work with students until they become successful and achieve their goals.

As a neurology physician in the department I work very closely with Murtada in my clinical role. He is an incredibly dedicated and able neurophysiologist with an excellent understanding of the underlying pathophysiology of many neurological disorders. He is reliable, kind, patient and professional. He has taken his time to teach me concepts that I have struggled with for many years, and made it seem so simple.

I am certain he will make an excellent tutor to a potential student of his. I only wish I had teachers of his calibre like this when I was going through my studies.
