About Oscar

- I have graduated with a first-class degree in Economics from the University of St Andrews!
- I also love different sides of economics not taught in the national curriculum, such as circular or 'doughnut' economics
- I did a research project (EPQ) on the economics of education, which demonstrated to me that economics incorporates little bits of lots of other disciplines, so having a rounded education is really helpful to be a good economist
- Although cliché, actually loving what you study will make revising so much easier, I hope to be able to provide that enthusiasm and engagement
- I have also taught and guided students through second-year undergraduate work; this was more of a challenge but extremely rewarding.
- Many university economics courses cover the same textbooks, having someone who has faced the same difficulties as you I have found is hugely beneficial!

- Can teach alongside school lessons offering consolidation of lesson work
- I can cover both Macro anmicroeconomicscs
- I believe in tailoring lesson plans to the student, I adapt to how they work best :)
- Lessons can be as long or short as necessary
- I am comfortable teaching up to A-Level, I achieved an A* doing the AQA board in 2022
- I believe the best way to practice economics is through real-life examples, after all, economics makes up every part of our day-to-day lives
