About Neil
I am a fully-qualified tutor (MA, PGCE & RSA CELTA), available for online English and maths sessions. I have many years' experience of teaching both classes of students, as well as individual tuition, and have a relaxed and encouraging teaching style.

I am a fully qualified and experienced Functional Skills Tutor, with experience of working within both Further Education and the private sector, and with learners of various ages. (Entry Level up to Level 2 standard). I have a PGCE and a Master's degree in Linguistics, as well as vast experience of teaching maths to reluctant students! I am available for both face-to-face and online sessions, with lessons lasting typically an hour. I have an easy-going personality and make use of practical teaching techniques, wherever possible, so that students can see the relevance of their sessions, and to build their self-confidence in the subject matter.
Also, available for ESOL students wishing to improve their conversational English and grammar skills.
