About Maya
I am a patient and professional tutor with a can-do attitude! I am always aspiring to deliver the best service to my students. As a university student myself, I understand how daunting exams and assignments can be and strive to support and instil confidence in all my students. I am comfortable working with a range of abilities and will tailor my lessons to your level of understanding. I will also be happy to respond to your queries out of lesson time e.g. marking essays and answering questions to ensure that my teaching is reinforced.

I recognise that each student learns differently, which is why I will take time to learn each student's preferred method of learning. Each lesson will be 1h long, although I am happy to be flexible around this. I typically create a PowerPoint activity-based structure to keep my students engaged and will continually check in with you to check your understanding. I am happy to teach any age up until A Level with a focus on essay subjects, spelling, reading, and writing; if you are wondering if I would be suitable for your needs, please ask! I am always happy to help.
