About Tatiana

Education has always been at the heart of everything I do. Whether I am teaching a student, conducting research, or building initiatives to improve healthcare, my goal is always the same: to help people access opportunities they may not have thought possible.

I recently completed my Integrated Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, specialising in Maternal and Fetal Health, and I am now pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Biophysics. Alongside my research, I am the Founder and CEO of Ovariah, a women's health organisation dedicated to making evidence-based health education more accessible and understandable.

As someone who was the first in my family to pursue higher education, I understand how transformative education can be. That experience has shaped the way I teach. I want every student to feel supported, capable and confident, regardless of their starting point.

My students know me as someone who is approachable, enthusiastic and genuinely invested in their success. I celebrate their wins, help them overcome setbacks and work hard to create an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves.

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student gain confidence in a subject they once found difficult and watching them achieve goals they never thought were possible.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to build confidence, improve grades and help students develop a genuine understanding of their subjects, rather than simply memorising content.

As a former secondary school and sixth form teacher, and now a PhD researcher in Chemical Engineering and Biophysics, I understand both the academic content and the exam skills required to succeed. I have over 4 years of tutoring experience and have received more than 50 five-star reviews across multiple tutoring platforms.

I teach GCSE Combined Science, Triple Science, Psychology and Business Studies, as well as A-Level Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, Business and EPQ. I also support students with personal statements, university applications and applications to Medicine and other healthcare-related degrees.

Every lesson is tailored to the individual student. We begin with knowledge retrieval to strengthen long-term memory, followed by targeted teaching, interactive discussion, exam-style practice and personalised feedback. I adapt my teaching style to each student's learning needs and ensure lessons are engaging, structured and supportive.

Whether your child is aiming to boost their confidence, catch up on missed content, achieve top grades or prepare for university applications, I will provide a clear plan and ongoing support to help them reach their goals.

My child’s understanding of the sciences has improved significantly since she started tutoring with Tatiana. Tat is very good at helping explain to her when my daughter is having trouble understanding and has an excellent way of teaching! She is also quite exemplary at breaking the ice between her and her students and always makes the lesson a comfortable environment for my child.
