I am a former Reading Intervention Teacher with a K-8 Instructional Credential from Loyola Marymount University and a Master's in Education with a focus on Languages and Literacy from Harvard's Graduate School of Education. I have been tutoring and teaching for 10 years.

My targeted reading lessons begin with an assessment to determine student's strength and weaknesses in reading. The curriculum is built on the tenets of the science of reading and tailored to meet each student's needs based on the initial assessment. I have experience working with grades K-8 with varying levels of reading ability, including students who were on grade level and students who are several grade levels below their own. I love to teach reading and make lessons engaging, fun, and confidence inspiring for students.
