About Anisha

Hello! My name is Anisha Kumari, and I am a passionate B.Sc. Zoology student dedicated to making the wonders of biology accessible, fascinating, and easy to learn for students. From microscopic cells to complex animal ecosystems, biology has always been my greatest passion. Pursuing my degree in Zoology has given me deep, up-to-date knowledge of genetics, physiology, evolution, and ecology. I choose to tutor because I want to share this excitement with students who might currently find science overwhelming or dry. As a current university student, I understand exactly what it feels like to sit behind a desk trying to memorize vast amounts of information. I know the exact academic pressures, tricky exam patterns, and common mistakes that cause students to lose marks. Because my own studies are fresh in my mind, I can explain difficult topics using modern, relatable analogies rather than just repeating textbook definitions. Whether you are trying to boost your school grades, prepping for competitive exams, or just want to truly understand how the living world works, I am here to guide you step-by-step with patience, clarity, and encouragement. Let’s explore the world of biology together!

About the lesson

As a B.Sc. Zoology student, my teaching approach bridges the gap between complex textbook concepts and real-world biological phenomena. I do not believe in rote memorisation. Instead, I use:-
1) The Retrieval Review (First 5–10 mins): A quick, fun recap of the previous lesson's core concepts or a brief quiz to clear any doubts and revision.
2) Core Concept Exploration (30–35 mins): Breaking down the day's topic using simple analogies. I connect textbook zoology to everyday nature and wildlife to make it fascinating.
3) Diagram & Note Synthesis (10 mins): Step-by-step guidance on how to draw clean, high-scoring diagrams for your exams, along with structuring concise summary notes. And many more ways along with revision patterns.

Being a current university student, I am closely aligned with the latest exam patterns, marking schemes, and academic pressures. I know exactly where students usually do mistakes. Asking targeted questions throughout the session to ensure you are absorbing the material in real-time, rather than just passively listening.
