About Ella
I am an enthusiastic graduate of English from the University of Oxford. I really enjoy my subject and would love to help other students feel the same. I can offer students my passion for English, creativity, and willingness to go the extra mile to help them succeed!
I have a track record of academic success having achieved a Distinction in my Master's degree at Oxford, a First-Class grade in my BA at York, three A*s at A-Level and ten A*s at GCSE. I would love to share my tips and tricks for exam success in my lessons.

My lessons will be catered to individual student needs. I will assess the student's abilities based on their work and comments from the student, parents and teachers to determine which areas of the subject need the most attention. Lessons will focus largely on the student's particular struggles but will approach the subject holistically and further encourage the student's strengths too.
My lessons aim not only to improve the student's work and prepare them for exams, but to inspire the student and encourage an appreciation for and enjoyment of English! I also hope to build the student's confidence in the subject, allowing them to enter the classroom or exam hall readily.
