I am a certified K-12 art teacher with over ten years of classroom experience, consistently rated “highly effective.” My background includes work as a book illustrator, graphic designer, and exhibiting fine artist in galleries and juried art fairs.

My approach is direct, skill-focused, and grounded in a growth mindset. Each lesson targets specific techniques in drawing, composition, and color theory, aligned with the student’s goals. I use simple before and after exercises to make progress visible and measurable.

Lessons are for students in fourth grade and up, from beginners to advanced. I also help teens build strong, well-rounded portfolios for art school applications.
