My teaching techniques involve working with the student to determine the areas of weakness that a student has. I then plan teaching materials and support in the necessary areas. I believe in a wholistic teaching methodology whereby the student understands the how and why of learning, instead of just ROTE memorisation.
Typically, weekly lessons will be conducted for 1.5 hours. It is recommended that additional lessons in preparation for an examination are 2+ hours.
I have 9 years of teaching experience, working in selective schools, comprehensive schools, catholic schools and private schools. I have also worked as a tutor at centres and private. I have a breadth of experience to support any needs your child may have.
My lessons are for students in High School. I also take students whom are in years 11 and 12 to guide them through their preliminary and HSC examinations. I also support students from years 7-10 in general science and mathematics.
