About Ghilanè
My name is Ghilly and I grew up in northern Italy, surrounded by a solid and lovely family who taught me by example what today still are my pillars: family, love, honesty & respect for others. I trained as a Professional Ballerina with the London Royal Academy of Dance for 20 years. I also have a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a doctorate in Material Science. After practising yoga for some years, in 2019 I decided to undertake a 200h yoga Teacher Training course...I spent 5 weeks in India, to learn not only about asanas, but also about the philosophy and history of yoga. My intention at that point was just to deepen my knowledge and grow my own practice. I was enchanted... a new world opened to my eyes and since then, I consider myself a lifelong student. The pandemic taught me that yoga has no limits. Teaching online allows me to meet and connect with people all around the world and spread the word of how amazing and life changing practising yoga can be.

Ghilané could make a sloth like me exercise AND enjoy it at the same time. She makes yoga fun and I always feel much better after every session and can definitely see the results. We've been working on my back pain mainly (I have a very sedentary job) and on flexibility. My body is thankful and my mind gets its down time. Having Ghilané as a tutor in this journey has been a blessing so far. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to approach yoga at any level (beginners to advanced)!
