About Katie
Katie discovered yoga through a personal injury which led her to heal. She emphasizes on meeting your body where you are at that moment. This helps to avoid any unnecessary injury while increasing flexibility. Katie offers lessons in meditation, pranayama, asana practices- Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and pain management. Each lesson is tailor-made for your specific needs.
Weather permitting, Katie offers guided hikes with an asana(yoga)/meditation practice combination. Hikes range from easy to advanced in intensity. Meditation or asana(yoga) practice is specifically designed for your needs.
Silent hikes with asana(yoga) combination are designed to offer you a sense of peace and serenity. Katie leads you through a guided meditation while soaking in the elements.
Katie has 17 years of experience with horses, currently owning two. She understands the needs for balance, strength, stability, and peace of mind. Katie offers a meditation on horseback. This 30-45 minute session is designed to help calm and connect both rider and horse. This practice strengthens the bond between horse and rider, creates a habit of calm in stressful situations, and allows the rider to truly slow down and feel the muscles beneath.
Katie finds bliss in the moments shared with her students and animal friends. She enjoys combining the elements with the practice that is yoga. Katie loves aiding in tools that allow you to sink into your true, devine self.
