About Michelle

My classes are designed for my students. Even in public classes, I can and will change poses for the students.

Yoga is for everyone.

I love helping people learn what they can do. If you are looking for a private session I would love to help you as well.

If you are looking for group classes there are some wonderful in our neighborhood. You can find me at the Yoga Loft in Snellville

Well, I had been taking classes for about five years. One day my teacher suggested I teach. That started a love of sharing yoga and Pilates. The benefits I have gotten out of my practice are so many. The biggest is that I am still not on any medication for my osteoarthritis, which I was diagnosed with 20 years ago.

To be honest, listing all my studies would be overwhelming. I have been teaching and studying for 15 years. Right now I am studying to be a yoga therapist.

About the lesson

First finding out what the student is looking for in their class and life. Then I research and work out classes for each student. Some students want to share a class. In that case the plan will be a balance of both students.

Student-athletes, people coming back from injuries, Chair classes. Basically all shapes. religions, educational backgrounds. Everyone can become a yogi. The practice might be short or long. Classes are set up for you.

Know that you are already wonderful. Yoga will help you shine a light on how wonderful you are, the light will shine on you and those around you.

Here are two events in my classes that are special to me. When students come in and tell me what they are able to do once they start taking my classes. An example is once in a chair class a man said look what I can do. He turned his head and looked behind him. At first, I did not understand, then he explained. "I can look behind me and see the cars as I turn and change lanes" That was an amazing moment.

The other was in my studies I had to come up with a class for rape survivors. This was a huge trigger for me. Once I studied and came up with and taught the class. The class was good for me as well as the students.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What has made them ready to start a yoga practice. It could be seeking peace, reducing stress and anxiety, getting fit, so many reasons.

Whatever your reason come to a class or two so you can see what you are seeking.

My standard lessons are $85 per hour. The first lesson takes a little longer so we can talk about what you need/want from your practice. If the distance of travel is more than 20 minutes, there is an added fee.
