About Maegan
I love to paint with mediums and textures. You won't get basic painting with acrylics in my classes. I mostly paint with oil paints and if using acrylic there is usually a medium being used. I paint using paint knives and brushes and these classes are about techniques in building illusions and textures.
So many things in life to be "perfect" over. Art is one of those escapes where you are forced to accept the outcome. It is a liberating feeling being able to paint and escape everything and create your own world with your own eyes. I love being able to pour all of my feelings and emotions into painting. It is a great outlet for those who can't find words for their feelings.
I started as a freelance artist creating paintings for enjoyment and people. I was then hired to create custom art work for family homes. Being self taught, I want to share my knowledge with others and create beautiful masterpieces together.
Freelance artist, self taught. Attended a few art classes to pick up techniques. I have been an artist my entire life always drawing, sketching, painting or something related to the arts.

Details
My pricing is $50 per lesson with a $100 supply fee monthly that will be reserved at a local art supply store or shipped to you. If you would like to supply your own art supplies, it is a standard $50 per lesson. I use mediums a lot in my paintings which is why my prices are a bit higher. These are not normal lessons with Acrylic paints which are cheaper, we will be using oil paints which are a bit pricier. In my class you will learn how to build texture and create realistic and beautiful paintings. Lessons depend on student availability.
