About Ashu
Hello,
Having graduated from California Institute of the Art, I have been up close and personal with this ever changing art world. After observing the current pedagogical system, it has given me deep insight on how to utilise my own experience of being at a prestigious art school and build a custom curriculum as per the needs of an individual as I strongly believe that there is nothing more appalling than a pedagogical system which believes in one size fits all.
I have a specialisation in Painting with two years of experience of teaching at an elementary school and as a teaching assistant at CalArts itself.
Painting in particular started off as a hobby before I decided on making it my life. After working with acrylics in my initital years, I started experimenting with oil and enjoyed the freedom this medium provided.
