About Kathryn
I am a self taught painter, I will help teach those to use the confidence in themselves to create the best they can. I love color and abstract as well as traditional oil painting and drawing. I'll teach how to go from the sketch to the painting. My art is at (concealed information)
I believe to create something makes you have a little magic, in order to creat you must be confident. Art teaches confidence and appreciation for our world and also each other. Art changed my life, I want to help others feel that.
I studied oil painting at Los Angeles valley college, but mainly self taught. I have taught classes at the Van Nuys senior center. I studied art history and have shown art at festivals and have sold several paintings.

I will first teach them about the tools they are using, and the rules of art. I will teach mixing and color usage. My students will have a piece of artwork that makes them feel good about themselves. I will teach depth, perspective, landscape, and portraits if wanted.
