About Elsa Cristina
As the founder and President of the Chase City Art Club I have been transforming rural communities, one art project at a time. The main objective is to find a project and place the artist and their talent with the job. I am retired now and offering oil painting classes to all ages. I paint in the French impressionist style, mostly oil on canvas with a palette knife. I have studied painting in Europe and my paintings have been sold all over the world. I have exhibited in Sonia Henning Museum in Oslo, Norway, and in MacCallum More Museum in Chase City and Clarksville Regional Museum. I have been painting for over 35 years and I am an established fine art artist. Sold my paintings onboard the cruise lines at auction and exhibited in Miami, Washigton, London, Palma de Mallorca, Spain and many other places around the world. Collector's of my work are all over the world.

We study the Impressionist masters from Said at and pointilism to Monet and impressionist stile of blending colors before placing on canvas. Impressionist style painting is taught with a palette knife on canvas. Study of colors and relationship to space on canvas. Classes are held in my art studio at home. All supplies are included. One hour classes to four hour maximum per setting.
