About
Hey, I'm Lex! I'm a third year law student, and I can help you with any non-stem subject. I've tutored at many levels over the years, and I have truly enjoyed working with any student that genuinely wants to learn. K-12, undergraduates, and pre-law students are all welcome. I was also accepted to Stanford University, so I can provide several services related to college admissions (general college advising, SAT prep, personal statement writing, and application review). Parental feedback is always welcome, and I will adjust my methods based on each student's goals as well as the input given by their parents. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
Here are my qualifications (additional clarification available upon request):
-A bachelor’s degree in English, Plan II, and Philosophy of Law from the University of Texas at Austin (I graduated with honors)
-2.5 years of law school
-6 months of supervised work as a student attorney
-3 years of paralegal work
-6 years of writing and editing for the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals
-One year of work as an editor for one full-length book and one movie script
These jobs and educational experiences overlapped; I worked on them concurrently over the past several years.
