About Brooke
I have had more than 200 hours in classrooms observing and studying education through my degree at SUNY Oneonta. With these hours, I have learned how to work one on one with students effectively. I have also been abroad to Queensland, Australia to study education. With this, I completed my degree by interning as a student teaching in Manhattan where I taught at Public School 166. With this internship, I was able to completely take over the classroom and implement my own teaching philosophies with the support of a professor and experienced teacher. I taught third grade reading, writing, math, and social studies along with fourth grade math. With this I have submitted my teacher certification tests and am waiting for a response.
I am very passionate about education and believe in planning engaging lessons for my students. I will continue to do this by using current research to support all of my teaching methods along with an understanding and kind teaching style.
