About Cecillia
My name is Ceca Radl! I have worked as a tutor for almost 12 years now, from elementary level to college level. I studied Elementary Education and Studio Arts (with an emphasis in Contemplative Practices and Community Arts) at Loyola Marymount University, graduating summa cum laude. I’ve been a private tutor for english, reading, and math, (for elementary- college level students), worked with homeschooling groups of kids (elementary and high school) and was an elementary school Montessori teacher in Costa Rica. I am also a certified Kids-to-Teens yoga teacher, and specialize in teaching art and mindfulness through a lens of social emotional learning. I personalize the way I teach based on the students academic and emotional needs. I choose a holistic approach when tutoring so as to ensure my students feel safe, inspired, and capable. I can provide tutoring in the following subjects:
• Math (up to trigonometry)
• English/ Language Arts/ Reading & Writing (up to college level)
• Spanish (up to high school level)
• Science & Social Studies (up to middle school level)
My favorite subjects to teach are Math and English - especially writing essays !!
