About Ashley
I am a private tutor specializing in literacy support and executive functioning, helping students build strong reading, writing, and organizational skills. With dual master’s degrees in Special Education and Elementary Education and over 10 years of experience in the field, I provide personalized, evidence-based instruction tailored to each learner’s unique needs. My approach focuses on fostering confidence, independence, and academic success through targeted strategies and compassionate support.
After finishing my bachelors in psychology I gave birth to my two beautiful daughters. I wanted a job that allowed me to benefit them and myself. Teaching allows me the training to help them thrive in school and keeps my schedule in tandem with their own
I have worked in the education field for three years now. I've worked in after school programs, a 2s preschool program, and currently as a special needs 1st-2nd grade teacher.

When first meeting a new student I like to have as much information as possible. I like to know the goals and expectations of the parents and then do a few activities in the first session to evaluate how realistic it is to accomplish those goals.
