About Jenny
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art from Western Michigan University and I’ve spent the majority of my professional career in the advertising field specializing in post production management. In 2018, however, I began my own adventure as an independent visual artist. I specialize in watercolor painting and graphite drawing with subjects ranging from floral still life to portraits (both people and pets).

I like to assess exactly what the student is expecting to learn whether it’s a general interest like drawing faces or more specific like shading techniques. I also think it is really important to take what the student has already learned into consideration. I don’t want to re-teach techniques. Instead I’m interested in building on what has been learned and advancing the students bank of skills. I like to get a solid assessment during the quote process so we can get to work right from the first lesson.
