About Tera
Wild Heart Studio is owned by Tera Leigh. Tera is a bestselling author, instructor, television presenter, and artist. In 2000, she got into altered art and mixed media as an extension of her painting and photography work. Prior to becoming a full-time artist, Tera was an attorney in California, and CEO of a technology business.
From working as a popular columnist for eight magazines (from PaintWorks to Create and Decorate, and more), to teaching on DIY network, PBS, HGTV, and in person around the world, to developing products from Paintability(tm) with Tracia Williams for Delta Technical Coatings, to her own Paper Craft line (Faux Mosaics) for Ranger Industries, and working as a product spokesperson for Daler Rowney Brushes, Tera takes creative risks, expands her own knowledge, and works to empower others to do the same with their art, and their lives.
Tera is the author of three books published by North Light (F & W Publications) Complete Book of Decorative Painting (called the "Bible of Decorative Painting" by the American Library Association), How to be Creative if you Never Thought You Could, and Faux Mosaics.
