I prefer to work with those who already show talent in art. I’ve taught art in public schools and it’s hard for everyone to get the concept of what I’m teaching. Artistic students will pick up on it immediately.
Mostly I critique or show them how to draw what they “see”, not what they “know”.
I prefer older students, Jr High through adults

I’d prefer an hour or two per lesson if you’re painting with me so I can critique as you paint.
But if you’d prefer to just bring in your paintings for me to critique, I can do that as well.
Both at $50 hour, minimum 2 hours.
