About Morgan

I believe everyone is born an artist, but sadly for many that is lost as we grow up. As an Art Educator, I can take any skill level and any age and help you achieve your artistic goals. We work hand in hand to discover what you are passionate about and how to foster a creative outlet to express yourself. Wether you have artistic training and are looking to reignite that, or maybe holding a paintbrush is a completely new experience for you, I can help you in discovering your inner artist!

I am formally trained in Art Education from Norther Arizona University and work as a professional artist. Choosing me as your art instructor means you are taking classes from not just an artist, but a true educator.

I have always enjoyed teaching and helping others discover their artistic passions. I started my education process in college and it has sparkled throughout my career ever since. From working with adults with mental disabilities to teaching children in Thailand, I find being a teacher immensely rewarding and I love it!

I have a degree in Art Education from Northern Arizona with a K-12 teaching endorsement.

About the lesson

I like to start with an introductory lesson where we talk about your history in the arts, your goals, your desired mediums, and what you hope to achieve. In this complimentary starter session we will also develop a materials list that will fit your needs and your budget to get started.

I have worked with all types of students. I taught English to children ages 2-15 in Thailand. I have taught art to adults with mental and physical disabilities. I have taught art in the classroom at all ages. I have taught art to adults who haven't picked up a pencil to draw in years. I can adapt all of my lesson planning for any age and any skill level.

It is easy to find an artist, but difficult to find someone who is both and artist and a teacher. There is a big difference between someone who can paint well and someone who can teach well. I do both.
