About Angi

I retired from being a Critical Care Respiratory Therapist after 30years to concentrate on my love of creating art.

When my husband was transferred to Korea for a year, I decided to start my formal education in art at Cal State University in Turlock California, before the Airforce transferred us back to Tx.

I then went to UTA in Arlington for 1 .5 years till I heard that The University of North Tx had a better art program. WoW! It is one of the best art programs out there. But before I could graduate we were transferred back to California then to Alaska followed by Mississippi then Tx where we retired.

After spending time moving around and traveling with the Airforce, I have a huge experience in exploring different art forms of art and artists.

I've taught private lessons to students in several different states and given lectures on different art forms from painting to working with hot glass.

I did International Bead Shows selling my work for over 20 years until Covid-19 hit. And my Glass Beads and sculptures have been on exhibit from The Corning Museum in Corning NY, The George Ohr- O'Keefe Museum in Biloxi Mississippi. And on exhibit from South Africa, throughout Europe to Japan.

My husband and I have settled in Hico, Tx where we live on our ranch, and I have my 1,200sq foot art studio. I'm anxious to start having students again since the Covid-19 seems to be getting better.

Every thing about Art excites me. And I have a passion for teaching. I love how a student gets excited when they discover how to do something or they discover something as simple as seeing that there are more colors and shades of green in a single tree.

I'm open minded and find that when I teach I also learn from my students. And love to share my many experiences from traveling around the world.

in the past I have also had other well known and famous glass artists teach in my studio. I have been featured in several Newspapers and books. And I have also taught and done demonstrations at different Art Studios and galleries.
