About John E
I have been making, showing, selling, and teaching art for many years and have over 12 years of experience as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the School the the Art Institute of Chicago. I work in a wide variety of media and have taught students of all ages and backgrounds. I like what I do and have fun doing it. I am committed to the success and satisfaction of all my students.
I enjoy working with people and sharing what I have learned. Teaching is a form of creativity and I love to create. I have earned a Bachelors Degree in painting from the University of Illinois @ Urbana/Champaign and a Masters' Degree in Studio from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. My practice includes producing large public projects and smaller work for private collections.
