About Maria
I have been studying drawing and painting in NYC for many years. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and coaching skills to all ages; Skills such as value, color, perspective and composition, drawing with charcoal, pencil and pastel, and oil painting and watercolor. My work has been included in shows for many years, I am a member of many art organizations. My program called “The Painting Gypsies” - was one of the 100 Best Enrichment Vacations Worldwide” by National Geographic. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts, and credit towards a Masters Degree. I have attended workshops all over the country and Europe.
I enjoy meeting people, and art is essential part of my life. I enjoy witnessing the creative energy in others
Art has been a natural part of my life since I was in elementary school. And I am a generous person. For these reasons it comes naturally to share the benefits of my experiences and skills
BA in Fine Arts. And several years in NYC studios such as the Art Students League of New York.

I begin with a friendly open conversation. What are your goals? What type of art inspires you and who are your favorite artists?Are you taking classes for a certain event or for your student portfolio? Each of us have a very personal feeling about creativity; also a very sense of their own strengths. It’s important to be aware of these issues before we begin. Depending on this interaction we will determine the class direction together. My goal is also to leave the student with reinforcement of their own vision
I have worked with all ages and levels of students.
I participated in many shows, including one at the office of the City of New York! And the owner of Fine Art Connoisseur owns one of my paintings.
