About Hafeez

I am an experienced Science tutor, educator and mentor who has been tutoring science for over 13 years. I have the necessary degree qualifications for this post, and a wealth of scientific knowledge with respect to the core curriculum/Scheme of Work (SoW). In my past and present teaching experience, I have tutored at various established independent tutoring colleges and tutoring agencies. I have taught all Science-related subjects at: KS3, GCSE, IGCSE, IB, AS and A-level Biology and am familiar with all exam boards including: AQA, OCR, Edexcel, Cambridge, Pre-U and IB. I have tutored GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) for many years and am familiar with the scheme of work for all exam boards, and have worked through many of the exam papers past and present. I have also helped students with GCSE Science preparation, bridging and closing any learning gaps, help creating revision notes, going through each topic area with key content, examination technique and how to answer the questions to get the maximum marks and going through the foundation and basics of each topic area. When tutoring I am always well prepared with a number of resources which include: ICT-based learning activities, latest visual power points, learning educational videos on each topic, past paper exam and worksheet questions which help students significantly improve their scientific knowledge as each student learns differently. In every lesson I carry out I have an organised lesson plan, give homework with feedback, incorporate a variety of different learning styles, progress test, set a monthly report for the parents and always create a suitable learning environment for the student. I am a fully qualified teacher with full QTS and subject specialism is science and Biology, and have also been a class lead.

My expertise, patience, and dedication ensure that they grasp key concepts effectively while feeling motivated. Learning with myself will help students foster confidence, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of core subjects.
