I have a Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders and experience working with children in the area of speech and language development. I am passionate about helping children strengthen their communication and literacy skills. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to creating a comfortable learning environment where students can build skills, confidence, and a positive attitude toward reading.

I provide personalized reading and phonics tutoring designed to help children build strong foundational literacy skills. Lessons focus on phonemic awareness, letter-sound relationships, decoding, word reading, and reading fluency. I use engaging, individualized activities based on each student’s current skills and learning needs. My goal is to help students become more confident, capable, and independent readers while making reading practice positive and encouraging.

Details
My tutoring rate is $25 per hour for personalized reading and phonics instruction, for the first month and $45 after that. I also offer a complimentary 30-minute introductory session so we can get to know each other, discuss the student’s reading needs, and determine how I can best support their goals. For in-person lessons that require travel, an additional $10 travel fee applies.
