About Daisy
Hi, I’m Daisy! I’m a qualified primary school teacher with several years of experience working with children across different ages, abilities and learning needs.
I’m passionate about helping students feel confident in their learning and creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and having a go. As a teacher, I understand that every child learns differently, so I’m patient, encouraging and happy to explain concepts in different ways until they make sense.
I particularly enjoy teaching English and Math and helping students strengthen the foundational skills they need to succeed at school. Most importantly, I want my students to enjoy our sessions, feel supported and walk away feeling more confident in what they can do.

My tutoring approach is supportive, explicit and tailored to each individual student. I break new concepts into manageable steps, model examples first and then provide guided and independent practice as students become more confident. I also use games, visuals and interactive activities where appropriate to keep younger students engaged.
Lessons are typically 45–60 minutes and are planned around the individual needs of the student. I can provide support in English and Mathematics, including reading, phonics, spelling, writing, comprehension, number skills and problem solving.
My lessons are designed for primary school students from Kindergarten/Foundation to Year 6, whether they need additional support, help consolidating classroom learning, or opportunities to extend their skills and confidence.
