About Peter
I have taught for 8 years in a successful science department, mainly in GCSE combined science, GCSE Physics and A level Physics. During this time I have run extra sessions for dozens of students, helping to develop their understanding and boost their grades - it really is incredible what learning can be achieved with a few hours of one to one and small group tuition, and how much easier lessons are with the new found confidence that comes from this!

I will first assess where your starting point is, and what your strengths and weaknesses are, so that an effective plan can be put in place. We’ll also determine if there are any particular topics or skills you want to look at, and place a priority on these. We will build up from easy examples, using tried and tested strategies to build up a comprehensive understanding. I use examples to make difficult abstract concepts more real, and approach concepts in a way that makes them simple - so much of Physics is easy, it’s just knowing how to think about it in the right way.
