About Omotayo
My name is Abigail, and I am a passionate Nigerian educator, Yoruba language tutor, and performing arts practitioner with many years of teaching experience. I completed my National Certificate in Education in Theatre Arts and English in 2024. I enjoy working with children and helping learners discover Yoruba language, culture, traditions, stories, songs, and heritage. My teaching style is patient, friendly, creative, and interactive, and I adapt my lessons to suit each learner’s age, level, confidence, and personal goals.

I offer engaging and practical Yoruba lessons for children, teenagers, adults, beginners, and anyone interested in Nigerian heritage. My lessons are personalised to each learner’s age, level, and goals. We will practise greetings, pronunciation, vocabulary, everyday conversations, sentence formation, reading, listening, songs, stories, and Yoruba cultural expressions. For children, I use fun activities, storytelling, songs, games, repetition, and simple conversations to make learning enjoyable and memorable. My goal is to help every learner develop confidence in speaking and understanding Yoruba while discovering the culture and traditions behind the language.
