About Maris
I am a Physics tutor with more than 4 years of experience and an MSc in Nuclear Physics. My teaching approach combines classical physics with geophysics and earth sciences to show how these disciplines overlap. Students learn how physics explains plate tectonics, seismic wave motion, and the physical principles behind climate science. I use models and data analysis to teach Earth’s structure, atmosphere, and geological changes. This makes lessons more practical and connects theory to real phenomena. I enjoy working with students of environmental science and those interested in planetary science, helping them link physics with larger planetary systems. By guiding learners to apply physics to natural processes, I encourage them to think beyond textbooks. My lessons focus on both accuracy and curiosity, ensuring students grow confident in their knowledge. I want every learner to see physics as a tool for understanding not only the universe but also our living planet. Together, we will build the skills to become a well-rounded and confident physicist with insight into Earth’s dynamic systems.
