Experienced high school English teacher and published author will help you prepare college application essays that will make your university applications stand out above the rest.

Maria has been teaching piano to both of our daughters and has been excellent. She is patient, encouraging and very good at adapting her teaching to each child’s level and personality. The girls enjoy their lessons and are motivated to practise and improve. Maria is also reliable, professional and easy to communicate with. We’re very happy to have found her and would highly recommend her as a piano teacher.

Maria is a wonderfully creative and engaging teacher! She taught two of my boys, and both enjoyed her enthusiasm for the material and unique strategies for creating access points for students. She understands how to cultivate strong writing skills and how to challenge students in reading comprehension and analysis. I highly recommend her for your ELA tutoring needs!

I highly recommend Maria because she’s amazing at working with you and meeting you exactly where you are. She takes the time to understand your goals and tailors her feedback to help you grow. Maria is always quick to respond, making the process smooth and supportive. Her suggestions are incredibly useful and thoughtful, helping you see things from a new perspective. She also explains the reasoning behind every suggestion, which makes working with her both clear and educational.

Maria taught my daughter last year and I can honestly say she not only prepared her for college classes, but also improved her confidence in her writing and to openly share her opinions and knowledge. If you are looking for a quality tutor, Maria is top notch!

I highly recommend Maria!
She has the skills to teach in a variety of ways to different learning styles and genuinely cares for her students!

I had Ms. Keffler for AP Literature, British Literature, and AP Psychology at a private high school. She went above and beyond expectations to create a lively environment where students would want to pay attention. Ms. Keffler worked hard to engage with her students, introducing discussions and going so far as to wear costumes to keep high school sophomores attentive. She always encouraged us and wasn't afraid to make our curriculum applicable to our own lives. No day was ever the same, she covered every learning style.

I worked alongside Maria for several years and was able to see firsthand Maria's caring and creative approach to teaching. Maria engages with the English language like an artist's palette and is able to encourage her students to paint, as it were, with words.
