About Mohammed
Currently I teach English online and run my own business. I have worked at SGL college as an English teacher for speakers of other languages (ESOL) for 6 years. I am a father of 3 and tutor at home on the weekends. I enjoy conversing with people and teaching people new things. I came to live in the UK 36 years ago and can understand and appreciate learning a new language. My life experiences make the job more exciting and make my teaching that bit more valuable.

I aim to make learning more enjoyable and develop an understanding that stays with students during schoolwork, homework and exams. Approach I use drawings, stories and real-life situations to articulate concepts. I encourage students to experiment with different methods when answering open-ended questions. I provide alternative approaches when students are challenged. Experience Since 2017, I've helped prepare students for SATs, grammar school entry tests, GCSE English Language (AQA) and Maths (Edexcel) exams. In addition, I've worked with various personalities and supported students experiencing low confidence, a lack of focus and difficulty processing and recalling information.
