As a well-experienced English teacher, I have had the privilege of guiding students through every stage of their language-learning journey. With intermediate students, I focus on expanding their vocabulary, improving fluency, and refining grammar to enhance both written and spoken communication. For advanced learners, I challenge them with more complex texts, encourage nuanced conversation, and work on polishing writing style for professional or academic purposes. I also understand the importance of adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, whether it’s through interactive activities, real-world application, or traditional drills. From online tutoring to immersive classroom experiences, I have honed the ability to create engaging, effective, and enjoyable lessons that cater to individual goals. About the lesson

The 1st segment of the daily class will involve Essential Grammar including illustrated explanation with examples and exercises to be delegated between teacher and class. The day start will be a continuation of previous lessons and homework. And like all languages the Grammar Essentials will have to cover the following: Verbs and Tenses: The most frequently used verbs. Beginning students can start working with common verbs like be, have, do, say, get, make, go, know, take and see. The problem with verbs in most languages—and English is no exception—is conjugation. This is where you link the verbs back to the pronouns. The second segment will involve select text reading and setting up objectives based on my exploration of actual students’ interests to ensure their motivated interaction and get them talking and asking questions among themselves. In many situations, they’ll need to be conversational and to have a vocabulary related to their professional fields. So if I’m working with engineers, I will incorporate relevant terms—including jargon, if required—into my lesson plans. It may sound difficult, but oftentimes the words will be Latin-based and will sound similar to the words in my students’ native language. When beginning adult students start to recognize technical terms, it’ll encourage them to feel more comfortable with language learning. And this goes well for Intermediates too. My goal would be to get the students doing most of the talking and use complete meaningful sentences, and here dealing with mistakes is an inessential task. I will use technology to encourage interaction. Watch a YouTube piece to give students a discussion topic triggered by amusement. One of my principles is to encourage students to ask questions.
