About Sangeeta Dasani

Hello future learners! My name is Sangeeta Dasani, and I am a passionate biology educator with years of experience teaching students from diverse academic backgrounds, including CBSE and international curricula like IGCSE and A-Level. I believe that biology is not just a subject—it's the science of life itself, and understanding it can spark curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation for the natural world. Teaching brings me joy because it allows me to make complex topics simple, meaningful, and enjoyable. I want to share my knowledge to help you not only succeed academically but also develop a strong foundation that will serve you beyond the classroom. I’m here to guide, support, and inspire you in your learning journey, and I can’t wait to explore the wonders of biology with you!

About the lesson

As a passionate and student-focused biology teacher, my approach revolves around building deep conceptual understanding through interactive and relatable teaching methods. I use a combination of visual aids like diagrams, animations, real-life examples, and mnemonic devices to simplify complex topics and ensure lasting comprehension. My classes typically begin with a short recap or a thought-provoking question to activate prior knowledge, followed by a clear explanation of the concept using engaging visuals and real-world applications. I then involve students in active learning through discussion, quizzes, or short activities, and conclude with a quick recap and clarification of doubts. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt lessons to suit various learning styles and curriculum standards—whether CBSE, IGCSE, A-Level, or IB—while maintaining a friendly and encouraging classroom environment. My teaching is intended for school students from grades 9 to 12, college-level learners needing support in biology, and adults seeking to understand biological concepts for academic or personal interest.

I am pleased to recommend Ms. Sangeeta who has served as a Biology teacher in Gulf Indian High School , Dubai under my supervision as Head of Teaching and Learning.
She demonstrates a good command on the subject and her lessons were engaging. She fostered a collaborative learning environment, using adequate resources. Her classroom management skills are good. She collaborated well with her parallel teachers. Her lessons are inquiry-driven, engaging, and aligned with CBSE curriculum standards.
She also led few Biology projects during the Science Week. Her passion and dedication was evident with the outstanding Biology results of our grade 12 students.
