About Kate
"Kia ora rā! I'm Kate from Ngāpuhi, and my marae is just outside Te Pū o Te Wheke, Kaikohe. Having learned te reo Māori during my university years, my profound passion for our language has been a constant. I vividly recall the tears, joy, and laughter on my language learning journey, making me well-equipped to guide you on yours. With seven years of tutoring experience in medical papers at university, this compliments my te reo tutoring background.

As a second language learner myself, I empathize with the challenges and customize lessons for an enjoyable and effective learning experience. I have a Diploma in Māori Language Fluency and a Diploma in Te Reo Māori ki te Reo Kairangi.
