About Leena

Hi, I'm Leena! I'm a native Arabic speaker currently pursuing my PhD, and teaching has always been something I genuinely enjoy — there's nothing quite like watching a student go from hesitant first words to confidently holding a conversation.

I decided to start teaching Arabic because I love the language and want to share it with others in a way that feels approachable and encouraging, especially for those just starting out. Whether you're learning for travel, personal interest, or simply because you've always wanted to, I'm here to make that journey enjoyable and achievable — one lesson at a time.

I bring the same patience and care from my broader teaching background into every Arabic lesson, and I'm excited to help you build real confidence in speaking and reading Arabic from the ground up.

About the lesson

I take a flexible, student-centered approach to teaching Arabic. Every learner is different, so I blend two methods: building a solid foundation with grammar and vocabulary, while also getting you speaking and using real conversation from early on. The exact mix depends on you — some students want structure first, others want to jump into speaking right away, and I adjust accordingly.

Lesson Length: Lessons are flexible and tailored to what works best for each student's pace, goals, and schedule — whether that's a quick focused session or a longer, more immersive one.

My Background: I'm a native Arabic speaker with prior teaching experience. While this is my first time teaching Arabic specifically, I bring the same patience, structure, and attentiveness from my broader teaching background to every lesson—making sure concepts are genuinely understood, not just memorized.

Who These Lessons Are For: My lessons are designed for complete beginners of any age — whether you're a child just starting out, a teen, or an adult picking up Arabic for the first time. No prior knowledge needed, just curiosity and willingness to learn.
