About Shelley
My main focus in teaching is to make the learning process fun and engaging. I like to mix it up with ice breakers, warm-up exercises, alphabet and reading practice, and games.
I am a patient and understanding person, however I do have the expectation that my students are serious learners who want to be there ready to learn.

Hi my name is Shelley and I have 20+ years experience working in schools. I am a native English speaker. I have mainly worked with elementary students, however I am open to working with adults as well.
I have a TEFL certificate from Canada. I can teach ESL to both children and adults who are interested in improving their English skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
I can also work with native English speaking children to help them improve their reading and writing skills.
My focus is to make learning fun and to build confidence. I like to play word games to help improve vocabulary and reading skills.
