About VERONICA

Hi, I’m Veronica! I’m a passionate knitter with a love for creating wearable pieces and helping others learn in a relaxed, supportive way. I’ve worked on everything from simple beginner projects to more detailed garments, and I enjoy breaking techniques down so they feel approachable and easy to follow.

My background in customer-focused roles has made me a very patient and attentive teacher. I focus on clear communication, encouragement, and adapting to each student’s pace—no pressure, just progress.

Whether you’re picking up knitting for the first time or want to build on your skills, I’m here to help you feel confident and enjoy the process.

About the lesson

My approach as a knitting tutor is patient, structured, and highly personalized. I believe knitting should feel relaxing and rewarding, not overwhelming, so I focus on building confidence step by step while adapting to each student’s pace and goals.

Teaching method & techniques
I use a hands-on, demonstration-based approach. I break techniques down into small, manageable steps and guide students through repetition until they feel comfortable. I also provide clear explanations of why something works, not just how, so students can troubleshoot on their own. Visual learning is key, so I demonstrate slowly and repeat as needed.

Typical lesson plan
A lesson usually starts with a quick check-in and review of previous skills. Then we introduce a new technique (for example: casting on, knit/purl stitches, increases/decreases, or reading patterns). We practice together, then the student works independently while I guide and correct as needed. I always leave time for questions and end with a small goal or practice task to build consistency.

What sets me apart
I focus on creating a calm, supportive environment—no pressure, no rushing. I’m especially attentive to detail and help students fix mistakes without frustration. I also adapt easily, whether someone wants to knit as a relaxing hobby or work toward more advanced projects like garments.

Who the lessons are for
My lessons are open to all levels:

Complete beginners who have never held needles
Intermediate knitters who want to improve technique or confidence
Students interested in specific projects (scarves, sweaters, accessories)

I teach both adults and teens, and I adjust the lesson style depending on the student’s learning pace and goals.
