About Alicia
I have always had an interest in teaching, and would love to progress to become a science teacher at some point in the future. I take education very seriously, and currently work within the educational industry preparing practical science classes for students at a secondary school level to higher education. I enjoy teaching and receive great satisfaction knowing i am using my own knowledge and experience to help you to achieve the grades and results you deserve!

I recently completed my degree in microbiology and continue to work within the educational sector. Since completing university, i have worked in schools and colleges within their science department and have since gained a thorough understanding of the theoretical and practical knowledge required to succeed in this subject area.
I have previously tutored math and English to children aged between 5-16 years old, and tutored first year students during my final year at university. I like to take a relaxed approach to teaching and actively encourage students to reflect on their work and identify areas of improvement for themselves. I am very friendly, and prefer a more traditional approach to teaching.
