About Reuben
Hi! My name is Reuben and I have just finished my English degree at University of York. I am originally from Birmingham, and some of my hobbies are reading, exercising at the gym, cooking and generally exploring the outdoors.
I am very pleased to be able to use my knowledge to help you with whatever you need to be the best English student you can be! I promise to be dedicated and make sure we both leave each lesson feeling more confident in ourselves. I am excited to hopefully work together!

Lessons can be one to two hours long, and is really structured around the student and their area of need.
One lesson could involve learning new terminology, analysing texts or reworking essays, or even just help reading new texts that they have been assigned.
I have experience serving the general public as a bartender, and would like to develop my customer service skills to a new demographic whilst incorporating what I have learnt from my English degree to benefit the student.
I am happy to tutor from primary school all the way up to A-level students!
