About João
Hello!
My name is João Franco and I'm an Engineering Physics graduate. I've been a part time tutor for more than seven years and consider myself an approachable and fun person who likes to teach but also to learn, continuously.
I'm fascinated by IT and solutions for the future. Therefore, I also work as a backend engineer for a startup focused on delivering sustainable solutions to electric vehicles and electric transportation in general.
Due to my academic and work experience, I'm in a very comfortable position to teach different kinds of maths, physics and programming, at several education levels.

Hello!
At the moment, all my lessons are online. However, quality is still assured, as I have appropriate material for online teaching, including a digitizer tablet. Students also have my support outside the classes, and can contact me via whatsapp, email, discord or other preferred channel to answer any questions they may have, without paying extra for it!
A normal lesson is 1 hour. Group sessions are allowed (yet discouraged) without paying extra for it!
Each student has its own needs, but usually my classes revolve around jumping straight to solving exercises, introducing the necessary theory to solve them and discussing nuances.
