About Philip
Born and bred in England, I studied Engineering & Management and have lived and worked in four continents. Training and working with people in the design and manufacture of products for the world to enjoy! I struggled and lacked confidence during my early years at school because I didn't understand "the basics". Realizing this, my parents found me a tutor who coached me and my confidence improved tremendously. From that point I never looked back - this gave me the ability to build and follow my career. I live in Australia now with my wife and our three sporty kids! I share this experience because I would like to support others to build their confidence and enjoy developing their life's journey.

I allow time to understand how each individual student learns and identify any "gaps to fill" on the subject matter. Tailoring the lesson accordingly. Ensuring the basic concepts are understood and then put into practice and build confidence. Where possible, showing how concepts are related. Typical lessons can be 2x25 or 50 minutes long, depending on the student's age. I have tutored ages 12 - 16 in the UK and ages 5 - 12 in Hong Kong.
