About Krish

I’m Krish, an MSc Data Science student at Lancaster University with a strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. I achieved the 99.9 percentile in Physics in the JEE, one of India’s most competitive engineering entrance examinations, and have a strong understanding of the fundamentals required for GCSE and A-Level study.

I am patient, approachable and committed to making students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I focus on clear explanations, logical problem-solving and building genuine understanding, rather than encouraging students to rely solely on memorisation.

Whether a student is struggling with a particular topic, preparing for exams or aiming to achieve higher grades, I tailor my lessons to their individual needs and work with them to build confidence and improve their performance.

I take pride in being reliable, well-prepared and genuinely invested in my students’ progress. My goal is to make challenging subjects feel simpler, more manageable and even enjoyable.

About the lesson

I believe effective tutoring is not just about teaching students how to solve a question, but helping them understand why the solution works. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s level, focusing on building strong fundamentals before moving towards more challenging problems.

My lessons typically begin with a quick assessment of the student’s current understanding, followed by concept explanation, worked examples and guided problem-solving. I encourage students to think through problems themselves rather than simply memorising formulae. I also use exam-style questions and regular practice to improve accuracy, confidence and time management.

For Physics and Mathematics, I particularly focus on developing logical and analytical thinking, breaking complex problems into manageable steps and identifying the most efficient approach to solving them. For Chemistry, I combine conceptual understanding with problem-solving and structured revision.

A typical lesson is 60 minutes, although I can adapt the duration depending on the student’s age, level and requirements.

I am currently pursuing an MSc in Data Science at Lancaster University and hold a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. I have a strong academic background in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and achieved the 99.9 percentile in Physics in JEE, one of India’s most competitive engineering entrance examinations.
