About Aliya
Hello, I’m Aliya — an Engineering graduate with a Diploma in Education and Quantity Surveyor experience. I teach Mathematics and Bahasa Melayu for primary school students (ages 7-12) in Sungai Buloh and surrounding areas.
My lessons are interactive, simple, and tailored to each child’s pace, making learning fun while building strong foundations. With patience and a parent-friendly approach, I aim to help children gain confidence and enjoy their studies.

My Tutoring Approach
1.Techniques & Methodology
I focus on interactive learning: using examples from daily life so children can relate easily.
Lessons are conducted in a step-by-step manner, ensuring each concept is understood before moving forward.
I encourage two-way communication, where students feel comfortable asking questions.
For Bahasa Melayu, I emphasize reading, writing, and speaking practice with fun activities to build confidence.
For Mathematics, I use visual aids, simple problem-solving strategies, and practice exercises to strengthen understanding.
2.Typical Lesson Length
Each lesson usually lasts 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the child’s focus and parents’ preference.
Breaks are included for younger children to keep sessions engaging and not overwhelming.
3.Qualifications & Experience
Engineering Graduate with a Diploma in Education.
Professional background as a Quantity Surveyor, bringing real-world problem-solving skills into teaching.
Experienced in guiding children with patience, adapting lessons to different learning styles.
