About Chloe
Throughout my academic career I have always achieved well and have a deep understanding of Maths and Science. Being an engineer I apply this knowledge to real world applications which helps contextualise what is learnt helping students to understand why it is being taught and helping it to make sense to them. Being neurodivergent, my brain doesn't always work in the same way as others, and I have an understanding that different people will need to be taught in different ways that work for them. Sometimes teachers don't recognise this or don't have time to adapt to everyone's needs. I have helped someone with discalculia to build their confidence and been patient and taught them in ways that help them to enable them to pass their nursing medication calculations. This person had always been told they could not do maths at school, but I believe, and as this demonstrates, with the right support for them everyone can achieve.

Experience tutoring Maths and Physics at Secondary School. I'm comfortable teaching any age or ability up to A Level. I received Grade 9 in my GCSE Maths, and A*s in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. At A Level I received A* in Maths, A in Further Maths, A in Physics and A in Chemistry. I have just graduated from a Materials Engineering degree. I have a lot of Maths resources to help develop understanding, but am happy to help go through problems set in school. Sessions can be adapted to the student's need in terms of length and teaching method. I'm friendly, understanding, and patient. I'm also autistic so I am good at teaching other autistic or neurodivergent students in ways that help them and without judgement.
